Lecture: “The Wood Type Collection of T.J. Lyons”
Saturday, June 13th at 3 pm

James Grieshaber of Typeco Digital Type Foundry will talk about Thomas J. (TJ) Lyons and his iconic wood type collection, which is housed at the Museum of Printing in Haverhill, Mass. and curated by TJ’s grandson, Steve Lyons. Greishaber will discuss some of the gems of this unique collection as well as the extremely rare oversized specimen book documenting the collection, and the person who printed it — David F. Greer. Greishaber will explain how he turned that specimen into the MoP’s latest publication.
