To the Museum

The Museum of Printing is almost as easy to get to in person as is through our web site. Public Transportation directions are below. If you are flying in Lawrence Airport is only four miles away.

Directions

Take Route 495 towards Lawrence, Massachusetts. Get off at exit 43, turning south onto Massachusetts Avenue, toward North Andover. In about 1 mile you cross Route 133.

Travel another 4/10 mile and the Museum of Printing will on the left. A large open field, the Town Common, is on the right, and North Andover Center is only a couple of hundred yards ahead.

Public Transportation

There is a commuter train from Boston North Station to the new Lawrence, MA station. From there, a 10-minute cab ride is necessary to reach us at 800 Massachusetts Ave. in North Andover. The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) provides a variety of buses and trains throughout eastern Massachusetts. Lawrence Airport

Lawrence Airport is a controlled airfield with IFR approaches. It is about four miles northeast of the museum at: N42″–43.03; W071″–07.40.

Winter Hours

The Museum will be closed on Fridays from December 26
to March 27. We will be open Saturdays except for December 26 and January 2.

We are closed on national holidays. We can arrange to open for special events.
