TypeCon 2017 – Boston

Type Aficionados!

TypeCon 2017 will be held in Boston from August 23rd to the 27th. The conference is packed with how-to talks by type luminaries including Sumner Stone and Museum of Printing president Frank Romano, presentations and workshops, with an optional full day side trip to the Museum of Printing on Wednesday, August 23rd. Nearly 80 typographic experts are giving a variety of presentations on using, creating new letter forms, the sociology of type and typesetting and evolving uses of type on various products such as signs and much more, as well as workshops on drafting letterforms, designing flourishes, a Day at the Museum of Printing, optimizing your TTFs for the screen using Glyphs and more.

Travel to and from the Museum of Printing for A Day at the Museum is provided by TypeCon as part of the workshop registration fee.
